You need to verify which M2 2WD chassis you have. Some of them have wide rear tires, which results in a thinner rear axle. Please see last photo for reference.

Installation tip:
Upon installing these on several Chevy Square body 2WD trucks, many of them are different. Some of them have wide rear tires, which results in a thinner rear axle. Be sure to see which version you have, its easy to tell!
 
If your square body has fat rear tires, you have the thin version.
